Conifer Productions Oy (hereafter referred to as "Company") built Sixten MIDI System Exclusive Manager (hereafter referred to as "Application") as a commercial application.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding the policies of the Company with regard to the collection of personal information for anyone who decides to use the Application.
If you choose to use the Application, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Company will not use or share the information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information collection and use
The Application requires access to your computer's file system and connected MIDI devices as detailed in this Privacy Policy. If this not acceptable to you, please uninstall the Application.
As stated in the App Developer Agreement between Microsoft and the Company, user files are considered "Personal Information" and thus this Privacy Policy must be maintained.
Analytics information
Microsoft Store applications capture basic analytics to help ensure the success and stability of the app. This information includes the number of installations, basic usage hours, etc., and is automatically sent to Microsoft.
Access to local files
The Application requires access to local files in order to transmit them to a music synthesizer. The contents of the files are retained in a local database and/or transmitted through the MIDI port you select when using the app. Retained content is only available to the Application. Only valid MIDI System Exclusive files are considered.
Any System Exclusive messages received by the Application through a MIDI connection are also retained in the database. The Application requires access to local files in order to export any such message to a file. You will be able to determine the location and name of any such exported file.
Access to MIDI devices
The Application requires access to connected MIDI devices in order to transmit and receive System Exclusive messages. You choose which input and output port is used by the Application.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
The Company may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. The Company will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
